THE UFO LOBBY DESCENDS ON PARLIAMENT: We found a pitch for an interview with heads of the Sol Foundation — a “new think tank that has been established to research the philosophical, policy, and scientific implications of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP)” — genuinely intriguing. Founded last year, the U.S.-based group is working on developing an “initial UAP policy framework” for the EU, and on Wednesday they were slated to join several other organizations devoted to understanding the mysteries in the skies at an event in the Parliament hosted by Portuguese Green MEP Francisco Guerreiro.
Unidentified lobby organizations: The Sol Foundation did not show up in our search of the Transparency Register; entry is a prerequisite for participating in these events. Indeed, of the groups appearing at the Parliament debate, only UAP Coalition Netherlands has a live entry.
