On July 26, 2023, at a hearing of the national security subcommittee of the US House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability, David Grusch, a former US Air Force intelligence officer, David Fravor, a former Navy commander, and Ryan Graves, executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace (ASA), alleged that the US government was concealing fundamental information about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) and a secret program that has existed for several decades to recover and reverse engineer potential non-human technologies. These allegations, made by senior US officials, have profound implications for government accountability and transparency, as well as national and international security.
1. Does the Commission have any information or documentation on the UAP collected by Member States or agencies?
2. Does the European Defense Agency (EDA) have information on UAP or internal protocols for the transparent and accountable receipt of information on UAP from Member States?
3. With regard to civil aviation, does the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have information on UAP or internal protocols for the transparent and accountable receipt of information on UAP from pilots and radar operators?
