Protocol to the EU-Korea Cooperation Agreement on a Civil Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS): accession of Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania
I voted in favor of this legislative resolution on the draft Council decision on the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union and its Member States, of a Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement on a Civil Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Korea, of the other part, to take account of the accession of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia and Romania to the EU. The Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement on this Civil Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Korea, of the other part, was signed on September 9, 2006 and entered into force on July 1, 2016. Since the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia and Romania joined the EU after the initial signature, these countries are now being added to the protocol.
